You need to go to www.hauppauge.com and click on the vista compatibility
link. I am using a MCE edition card and it works great. CHECK EBAY!!!

i got it to work!
i typed this into a command prompt ran as administrator
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
this turns DEP off.
