John

I got an error message saying my C drive was corrupt. I
can run a scan disk on it, but when I do, it dumps about
15 gigs of data into my computer, and it causes my
computer to reboot, on it's own - a lot. I can delete
only part of the information it dumps into my hard drive.
I don't know where to find this data either.

Anyone have an idea?

Scandisk shouldnt dump any data on the drive. Have you tried booting from
the CD and running chkdsk /r in recovery console.
