We talked about not overclocking the box before,

No ive tried all those little things and traced back my steps, even turned
the directx troubleshooter acceleration bar down a little, (sometimes that
works on other games)
 
Hi dRPeppir,

Yup, most of those little things, including BIOS updates are in
my troubleshooter. Maybe look over it just in case something

I have the latest BIOS I am still having that problem.

I solved the same problem on my machine, just change the AGP aperture
size in the bios settings.
In my case switching from 256mb to 128mb solved my problems with halo
:-)
