Gab's computer course

Hi Ian

Yes, we have started the practical work. This week and last we stripped down the PC and re-built the component parts. Last night we used the machine I was working on and applied power. We are moving on to fault finding fairly soon and then installing OS. I have done all 13 of my assignments and the marks have been good which is nice.

Thanks to everyone who helped me with some tricky and ambiguous questions.

Errr, not really. I am ok stripping down the parts and then putting the thing back together. In a few more weeks I might feel more confident. Ideally I could do with a mentor at home so I could fiddle about and get some practice.

If I lived nearer I would love to!! I might see if I can pick up an old PC just to fiddle with and practise.
