Actually I'm in Merville. Thats a rural community just north of
Courtenay. I pass through Duncan just about every 2nd Monday. I stop at
the Chevron Card lock on the way back from Victoria. It is a small
world!

I live in the Qu'Appelle Valley in Sask and we were voted one of the top
ten rural areas to live in all of Canada by HarrowSmith Magazine, which is
astounding if you've ever spent a winter in here. But people come here from
B.C. Alta, Man Ont. and the U.S., all over, for the summers. I've been in
your area and it's not bad either.
