Yes I have been thinking about KAV........ just this week I tried the
Anti-vir and Avast.

I am now just running Avast, decided not to go with Anti-Vir - I think part
of what we seek personally for progs is how the interface is, what we are
used to or looking for in a prog, and occasionally how much troublesome krap
LOL
;) we'll put up with to use it.

Avast seems a bit **less** fussy than Antivir was.

But like I mentioned, KAV is on my list to think about ...might just give
Avast a trial of 30 days or so then try Kapersky and decide for sure.

Troll----I appreciate your feedback, candor, and wit on this board :)

=^..^=

Just trying to keep someone from making a mistake they'd
regret by installing "McAfee" :-)

Ok; I confess. I've been bad : - (

Not really. Some things are worth paying for. I was only questioning it
because of the name of the thread.

And I misspelled Kaspersky.

Kapersky? I tried it last year during it's free trial and then went
back to avast. It added a tag to many files and I'm still cleaning up
after it. Norton nor Mccafee never did anything like that.

"Tag"? What sort of "tag"? Perhaps you are thinking of the late (and *much*
lamented) "Thunderbird" (if I remember the name correctly; it's been a long
time since I used that app) anti-virus (which DID add "tags" to files it
scanned)?
