Free Partition Magic ???

IIUC--NTFS is the "native" file format for XP. Whole different animal
from any of the FAT versions.

IIRC, there are different versions, i think 2k and XP use v 5. and a
lot of the details were not disclosed, which means the linux ntfs driver
had trouble for a while and there were no free resizers (until late
2002?). supposedly the linux ntfs.o and captive drivers are still buggy!

I'm assuming Partition Magic, et. al, get specs directly from MS.
