Portugal with a 2-0 win over Turkey and Chzeck Rep with a lucky 1-0 win over the hosts Switzerland..I think the Swiss were mugged to be honest..;)


More matches today with Germany and Croatia hoping to get wins..

The website is "down" until mid-day tomorrow (Saturday 14th June) but they are accepting e-mailed transfer requests.
 
yeah hopefully it will be up again tomorrow...Its a shame cause this is the best Euro fantasy game out there...

I aint even logged on but my mates told me the sites been down? They are all gutted.

Seems like a total shambles really.

The sites been working fantastically from 09:30 this morning, it was only down for the day..:)
 
Hey crazylegs, were you top dog from the PCR entries? I see that you finished 75 points ahead of me but an amazing 18,370 places higher up the league. :eek:

Yeah managed to finish in 16th but was after a top 10 placing really so am a little dissapointed, the Metro site going down earlier on in the game is what really done me as I couldn't make a transfer for 24 hours and lost my 3 transfers I had in advance which really sealed it for me..Metro need to sack there game provider for that and get in a company that can deliver next time..

Yes Beer guts and glory had all spaniards in his team for the final and risked it all and it paid off for him..He's a good chap and knows his stuff..

I managed to beat the world no.1 but this isn't really his bag, he's a Premiership fantasy man and didn't know half the players, but then neither did I, so I get some comfort from that..:D

Match of the tournament for me was the Germany v Turkey game...Now had that been the final it would have been a cracking affair..:nod: But Spain v Germany was a snoozefest and could have been so much better, bit like when the Greeks won it 4 years ago they played very defensive boring football and Spain were a little like that in most of there matches playing good but conservative football, which unfortunately isn't good on the spectators eyes..Great for Spain but boring for everyone else to watch..
Perhaps England can make it for the next Euro's in 4 years time but I wouldn't hold my breath..

As for Euro 2008 it was brilliant. I really enjoyed watching it.

The Turkey vs Germany, Turkey vs Czech Republic, Holland vs Italy, Holland vs France were all my most liked games.

There was only ONE game that was boring that was the French against the Romanians.
I think it was a wonderful tournament it was a victory for football.

Roll on the new season!
