Probably because in the past they always have been the same, or at least
close together. Not so this time. But, I could be wrong on this and those
that qualified could be seeing their copies by mid-January. I just can't see
that happening, but maybe.

Launch, Colin, and I suspect that's what the offer stated as well. I didn't
enter it (no need to), so I didn't get to see the documentation first hand.

True, I see it can mean either way. However, it wouldn't be that odd if
they did mean rtm=nov 8. It was a program for developers who were willing to
watch a few informative videos. Developers already have access to Vista and
Office from MSDN.

Although many people who are not developers took advantage of powertogether
and MSDN, it was for developers to get them Vista ready and aware. For that
reason I don't think it is that unreasonable that they would give out these
free copies before general availability. This is part of their push to get
developers onboard.

I could be mistaken, but that is what I though about it. Just trying to be
optimistic :)

I have been emailed for both products on 01-09-07 for both products.

I also have been notified of my W-9 form.

I sent it back via fax on 01/09/07 about 8:00 PM.

This was the last time I have heard anything, so I guess I'll sit and wait.

I thank Microsoft for the CPP program and it was worth my time.
I'm just sorry that thier wer'nt a lot more drives around then and now for
wireless printers and the ATI ALL In Wonder 9700 Pro.

Thanks ALL.
