Linda, looks like there's something not quite right with your PC. At least
for me, every single link posted to this thread works just fine. As Dr.X
posted, have you checked your hosts file to see if it's been tampered with?

Dave ...

Please see my reply to Dr. X for details. It was the hosts file!

Thanks ...

It's a file read by your browser that will redirect requests to your
local machine instead of the web site.

Thanks for this URL. As I've mentioned in my post to Dr. X, it was
the hosts file that was causing the problem. Amazing.

I see that your URL gives more explanation about hosts files. More
for me to learn.

Thank you!

Linda,
I just checked the link and it works for me.
I did see a quick flash of a box that said something about
a "cookie check" before it opened, do you by chance have
all cookies turned off on your computer?
That could be the problem on some of the other sites also.
Here is a cut and paste of the complete address that I get
when it opens, don't know if it will work on another computer.

Tom ...

Thank you for checking on this on my behalf.

As I mentioned in my other replies, the problem was indeed the hosts
file. And I've fixed it, thanks to this group.

Thanks so much!

Also feel free to replace your (now) empty hosts file with a copy of
mine, and make lots of banner ads disappear. <g>
