firing up a SATA hard drive

The problem is that you don't have even a basic clue as to what you're
doing, can't read manuals, don't understand anything about building a
computer, and you still don't get the simple concept of taking your
parts to a computer shop and letting them build it PROPERLY FOR YOU.

It will never get a clue either; can't you tell by now you're feeding a
troll? Let it get hungry and it'll go elsewhere for its food and search
for power over those he's safe from popping him in the face.

If it were possible, I'd volunteer to fix its computer for it; free of
charge; gratis.

It'd get it back in perfect condition, working exactly the way it works,
which should thrill it to no end. NOt sure where my copy of win1 is
right now but I could find it<g>. Or at lease DRDOS with a gui; that'd
probably work too.

Ok, so with all the so called " PC techs " no one has even a clue. So wtf do
you think a PC tech would say to me at a PC Store? I'll tell you, he would
say, I had to change your motherboard and CPU chip or at least the CPU chip
or your tower. I'm not going to bring it into a PC store. I think now, it's
either the tower or the actual motherboard. But, why would it fire up with
the power supply unit tester if it was the motherboard? Why would it fire up
without the power supply tester once or twice and then not fire up at all,
again?

What does the *manual* say for the PSU? After all it was
put together by people who know what they are doing. Maybe a
protection-circuit kicks in if no load is connected?

"Installation under professional supervision is strongly recommended"
from my "LC-Power Arkangel" PSU manual.

Looks to me soon you'll get another PSU....

Hmm, now if you don't understand what the manual says, how
could you understand any technical advice given to you in
this news-group?

No answers? I thought there were some PC techs here?
Ok, then stfu and mind your own business if you don't have a constructive
answer!
Anyone with a good clue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, attilathehun1

Hmmm. Maybe he thinks it's easier to talk to someone than read the
manual? Or maybe he isn't able to read manuals? I doubt if the real
Attila was much of a reader, either. (Besides which, anyone who would name
themselves Attila has a screw loose).
