I use zonelabs firewall on both my desktop and laptop. Often I have to
reduce protection level to medium level as zonelabs just locks me out of the
web. Often in mid stream. This happens on both pc. Is it safe to surf with
zonelabs set to medium. ? It describes this setting as Visible but protected
mode. Computers can see your computer but cannot share it's resources.
Incoming Net bios is blocked. Recommened for temporary use of internet. I'm
just geeting sick of having to alter the firewall settings to medium, Surf
around for a couple of minutes then alter it back to high. Then 15mins later
freeze's so back down to medium etc. I've only had this problem since the
latest upgrade from zonelabs. I've reinstalled zone labs from scratch on a
clean install of windows on my desktop but I still get this problem

Any help would be appreciated

As you have determined, this is a ZoneAlarm problem, not a Windows
issue. Contact ZA tech support or look at their forums.
