Same here.I installed from the zipfile, and it automatically imported my
settings, bookmarks and passwords from the Firebird 0.7 profile.
No problems whatsoever; it works beautifully, and my impression is
that it is about 50% faster than 0.7.

pixturesk said:Firefox is great, quick, love the tabs!! Is there anyway of using Download
Accelerator Plus, version 7 in lieu of the manager in Firefox which is much
slower. In the configuration options for DAP 7, it only shows integration
with Internet Explorer or Netscape. For large files, Dap is invaluable. With
my hi-speed cable internet + DAP, I often get 200-300 kbs transfer rates.
Thanks.

Install the tabbrowser extension and go to options and "focus" andI tried it today. It's fast. There's only one thing I don't like
about it.
When you select "open link in new tab" it makes the newly opened
tab the active window, ala Netscape 7.1.
I don't like that. One of the things I liked best about Firebird
was that the current window remained active, allowing me to scan a
page and open as many tabs as I wanted, then look them over after
they loaded.
