Filter a drop down list?

Graham,

I tried what you said - but really want the value bound to the underlying
table.
For some reason the counties combo is fine and stay to the value I selected.
the control source for it says county(so I assume that means it is Bound to
the county field from the underlying table) which is what I want and also
what I want for the STATe combo. If I set the control source for the state
combo. It shows me the states listed one time like I want but does not let
me SELECT one -like it is locked out.
