Try hoovering the inside of your pc out; dust is an insulator and too much of it will clog up your pc and make it very hot :D

Ok I will try that.
I have tried to update my drivers for my X1600 and once it restarts after installation it just crashes.

From the Cambridge Online dictionary:

Definition
<– Back to results

Hoover Show phonetics
noun [C] UK TRADEMARK
a vacuum (cleaner)

hoover Show phonetics
verb [I or T] UK
He was busy hoovering the bedroom carpet when I got home.

hoovering Show phonetics
noun
Could you do the hoovering?

(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

It may well be a brand name but it has entered everyday language use and is now listed in dictionairies as seen above. Somehow 'I'm going to Dyson/Mr Henry the front room' doesn't sound the same :D

Will these drivers be ok?
Are you running XP with SP2? I'll assume yes.

You need the drivers from here, plus the Microsoft .NET Framework installed prior to downloading and installing the Catalyst Control Center.

If you want, you could try the Omega drivers. They are an alturnative to ATI's own. :)
