Favorites incorporated to a start page. What do you think?

I use FavesToGo for that. It's a Ziff-Davis PC Magazine utility which
does what you describe but calls the page FavesToGo.html. You can set
background, text and (visited) link colours. I am not sure if it's
still available as freeware though. Do a search and you may find a
download link.
