fast typing = problems

You will have to press harder on the keys. I can't believe that you did not
test the new notebook in the store prior to purchase.

Who else can you blame but yourself and what do you really think that anyone
can do to "make it better" for you?

If he is a uni professor than most likely the Uni paid for and supplied the
notebook.

A very unhelpful and rude answer, and not what one expects from an MVP.

Firstly, he would have been testing a display model, not the one he
would actually receive in an unopened box.
Secondly, display models frequently would be attached with a security
device making it difficult or impossible to test properly.
Thirdly, there's every chance he bought it by post.

Unless, of course, as someone else suggested, he didn't buy it himself.
