New version installed 7.0.2.1 since 48 hrs. No problem to report,

I just installed it and am still missing 2% resources that I had with
version 6.X. I don't see a difference.

The difference is it doesn't keep using more RAM over a long period
when left unattended, which is what a memory leak is. By the way,
what resources are you talking about (RAM, disk space, CPU use, number
of file handles, number of blue pixels... what?) and how did you
measure this? I doubt 2% is something you *feel* in normal use on a
decent machine.

You might want to give some thought to upgrading that 486... ;^)

When you first boot the machine and go to system information you will see
how much free resources you have. I used to get 90% right after a clean
boot and now only 88%.

No, it's a PIII/500

Sounds like you're running Win98. With an AV running and probably
a few other programs as well, 88% is fine. What's the problem?

Win98SE to be exact. Well, why does it use more resources???
