Well as i said in th epost i've been wanting to format it for a while, i just needed a tiny excuse to get me motivated, because i knew it was goign to be an installation marathon, it took me about 13hrs virtually straight to get all my stuff install and have it the way it was before! Though i done a few defrags and let the hd's cool down every so often.

Since ive changed my 2nd hd into NTFS instead of what it was before (FAT32) the defrag times for it are incredible, it defragged about 60 gig of the drive, most of it was fragmented in about 30 mins, when it was FAT32 is was about a 3 hour wait for that!

But now when i turn me comp on i have to click a user/logon now, before i could just hit the power button and it would go to desktop without having to logon :(.

you are a funny bloke!!!! about your log on thing im sure u can change that in xp!

go to the user accounts if i remember correctly KGB definetly knows becuase he told me about it! PM him.

oh yer one ohter thing Reef, get hold of a dvd rewriter its well worth the cash

i got myself a Pioneer 108 last week for 50quid, its worth it as one dvd = just under 7 CDRS!

so in your calculations u were looking just at under 4 DVD's to back up imagine how easier that would have beeen!:)
 
I've gave it to my brother now, couldnt be bothered with installing it, my pc is getting me very mad the past few days, best i stay away form a screwdriver in me comp for a while.
 
Aghhh.... Help me!

I have that same problem, except mine displayes '?' insted of '£'

what can i do?
