Of course BCP (and DTS) can read / transport data from any DBMS or file.

Cor,

Please donot take this in offence as it is not intended to be so.

There are times, when I do not understand what you are trying to say. I am
sure it is not because my English is bad. I know it isn't your native
language, but it is a communication gap. Anyway, I am sure you are a nice
guy, but kindly pardon the communication gap if I ever don't respond to your
post - it is only because I see a non-productive confusion dead end to the
conversation.

Again, please don't view it otherwise, I am sure you know languages I don't
:-)

Sahil,

Don't see this as abuse, this was your message

This was my answer,
To give you one,
The access database can be on a computer with not any network connection.

When you can don't understand what I wrote, than ask. The answer you gave
now was like a flag on a broomstick.

If you don't understood what I wrote above. Ask again, than I will try to
explain it for you in another way.

True, but the destination or source DBMS would be SQL Server, right?

Not necessarily. Some companies large and small buy a SQL Server license
just to get DTS. It can move data from virtually anywhere to virtually
anywhere--SS does NOT have to be a source or target.
