Glad to hear it. FWIW, OneCare has a web support forum here:

http://forums.microsoft.com/windowsonecare/default.aspx?siteid=2

I've found OneCare pretty acceptable except that a couple of Thunderbird
users with heavy loads of spam got pretty regular corruption of their mail
stores. Some of this corruption happened before OneCare, so I tend to blame
Thunderbird, but we've removed either OneCare or Thunderbird from those
machines.

The version numbers match perfectly.

1. I see the defender icon in the systray with punctuation.
2. I double click the icon to open and it tells me I haven't scanned in x
days.
3. I push the scan button and get the error.
4. The same thing happens if I close the program and re-open using Start|All
Programs|....
5. It works if I use the scan button on the toolbar.

OK--you are running current code.

You are seeing a bug which isn't fixed in the current code--it needs a rev
to the UI code to be fixed, and that hasn't been distributed yet. So--it is
known to Microsoft, a fix is on the way, but we don't have it yet.

Sorry I can't give you better news. Scanning via the menus should work
fine.

Are you seeing this error message when you scan?
