Hi all,

Are there any other explorer alternatives with duplicate panes like
xplorer²-lite ?
I'm happy with it so far, but would like to try something similar.
Any thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.
TIA

Pablo Commander is nice

Both of these look really nice!

Pablo is similar to the old Norton Commander and A43 is more similar to Windows
Explorer, from first glance. A43 can run on a jump drive, as there are no reg
entries. I imagine he same is true for Pablo.

I love these type of file managers, we cannot have too many of them.

Nice finds!

Thanks, but support for my OS (win98SE) has been abandoned.
I also tried AB commander light from
http://www.winability.com/abcommander/lite.htm, and actually I'm considering
downgrading xplorer²-lite to 2explorer.

What do you want support for?

It runs fine on 98SE. Nice looking app.

Ah, ok, I misused the word 'support' , I meant it was not meant for win98SE,
but I should have tried at least, and I will do now.

It's probably just me, but how do I get it to show dual panes ? Can't find
it anywhere.

TIA

LOL

Extreme bottom right there is a maximise button and a restore button.
Click the restore button which will bring up a window with 6
tabs.Click FM Extra for the dual pane. Note the drag and drop image
viewer and hex viewer also...

2X Explorer is not bad. I think it is unsupported now, with a Payware
type in its place.

OK it was me. Nice program. Keeping it and Turbo Navigator. Just ditched
xplorer² for 2explorer to find out what I'll be missing. Time will tell wich
one of these remains.
Thank you all for the great help.

Actually xplorer²-lite is the freeware-version of the payware version which
is the successor of 2xExplorer.
