You can install more than 1 copy of Vista on the same machine and still
activate it with no problems. I have 32 and 64 bit Vistas on same hard
drive.
I have activated them and have reinstalled them a few times and
reactivated
them again with no problem.
If each version was installed with it's own product key that's fine, but by
the license you cannot install both versions from one product key.
