That wouldn't help. Time servers give the time in GMT and WindowsJohn Barnes said:Been happening to me since I first started dual booting XP and ME. It

update and it will be corrected for you. The time is stored in your
BIOS and updated by Windows who doesn't know or care that you had
another system do it. If they had sharp programmers, all they would
do is force an internet update on first boot when after the scheduled
change over. Not complicated, but does require thought.
assumes the hardware clock is local time, so Windows would still have to
change the hardware clock to match the current local time to adjust for
DST.
