London buses: £1.00 a journey, single bus anywhere within Greater London Area.

Daily bus pass, anywhere ya like, any bus, as many journeys as you like: £2.50

Weekly Bus Pass, same conditions as daily bus pass - £9.50

Not bad really, though it's quicker by train...

As I usually only ever use buses to get back from the pub (I often walk there, along the riverfront, unless it's raining) I just pay a quid per journey.

A cab, btw, from pub to chez flops, costs about six quid.
 
It was rather a lot of fun, but what is a ml? And how many are in an ounce? They could at least use colonial measures. And floppy knows I don't know what a quid is except as concerned with a quo pro.
 
ML is a milileter - ML's are a volume - Ounces are mass, you would have a hard time converting them!

1000 ML = 1 Leter (is this how you spell it? - mind is dead!)

I'm ashamed to say I drank and drove ... once.

4 cans of Tennents Supa (9.5% proof, never got past 2 cans before) ... got on the Wife's Scooter and drove straight into the wall, never got out of the back garden even though the back gate was open. :o

... drink drivers should have their cars confiscated and thrown in jail for 5 years. ;)

I agree... Society would benefit from having the cars of drink drivers thrown in jail
