Windows 10 Done it.

Now it's getting complicated, lol...

New technology and an i5 or an older type i7 and save £50?

Decisions, decisions.....

I would hold fire and save for a newer i7 if I were you.

Prices are sure to drop a tad in a few weeks. 1150 mobos and cpus have been dropping in ptice the last few weeks in anticipation of the new range launch. If the new Skylakes are slow to sell they will come down in price by a small amount. Win win for waiting whatever.

Skylakes show a quite nice boost for those using linux which is good for me.

I have decide to go for the Skylake system but am happy to wait a few weeks. If I can get a trip to the states arranged I will buy a cpu and possibly a mobo and ram over there as they are nearly 40% cheaper over the pond.An if me plans go right I can build and test a rig over there before I fly back with a tested set up.That is a long shot though.

Aye, I was tending to lean towards a Skylake i7 tbh, this system will probably be used at least 4/5 years so might as well start off with a newer technology.

So, wait a few weeks it is then :)

there has been a 'fix' or two for IE (not Edge) on the 18th

FLASH! da-da-da-da, saviour of the browsers.
