Do aliens exist???

I think life may exist elsewhere as some sort of bacteria or simple form of life - but I don't believe in little green men from Mars. Who's to I am right or wrong though, as we can't really prove this at the time being ;)

What sort of stuff have you seen?

hmmm... I've lived most of my life in sunny Dorset and seen nothing more than dodgy looking farmers. Not sure about your southerners theory, Techy ;)

Well, is there a military base close to Cornwall?
Personally, I think the majority of ufo sitings can be explained away to "normal" everyday things. Airplanes, weather balloons, etc.

Now, the flying disks people report seeing, I think these are most likely military experimental craft. Remember, the stealth bomber and F-117 were out for 20 years before it was opened and explained to the public. Nazi Germany had flying disks called foo fighters that were faster than any airplane at the time and were able to release a type of emp that shorted out other aircrafts electronics.

So, I think its unlikely we're being visited by aliens. But thats just my opinion.
 
There are quite a few military bases in Cornwall, RAF St. Mawgan for one.

Foo Fighters? So that's where the band got their name from eh?

I'm open to anything, nothing would surprise me but because I'm such a cynical git - I want proof.
 
Ahhhh, see, now thats an interesting development in the whole corwall situation. Other people have probably seen them also then.

There have been many many sightings of strange aircraft in New Mexico and Nevada... mostly out in the desert where I presume the militarythinks it can test strange aircraft with little attention drawn to it. I heard of a bunch of sightings stories in the UK but I'm not sure exactly where they were located. But a large number of ufo sightings do seem to be situated within the proximity of Military bases.
 
It could be alien craft, it could be military experiments, but it's Cornwall, it's almost summer and this time of year is well known for the regional "Pasty Launching" heats leading up to the Grand Final in August.
 
I come to this site quite often to learn new things about computers and technology. Then today I see a thread about UFO's, how interesting. Anyhow, we can not believe that we are the only living creatures (besides the animals we know of) in this universe. I do believe there are other living creatures beyond our planet, and I'm sure the "government" is well aware of this. But we can't expect him to inform the world, for that would cause total chaos. America alone is so far behind in technology it's not even funny. That's why we turn to foreign country's (ex. Japan) for new toys. I like reading about this type of subject, so I'll be looking out for some feedback.

I totally agree, except for the government part knowing about alien life forms. If people from the government really knew they would sell there stories for millions upoun millions!

I think theres an identical Earth out there, with humans that look, talk and do everyting the same like us. I dont see a reason why there isnt.
 
The yanks might not be so hot on consumer electronics such as the ones that the Japs are always inventing but im tellin ya, the yanks are sh*t hot when it comes to military! They have for example the Lockheed Martin F1-17 (stealth) and the JSF program that is set to replace the harrier.

in conlusion, they probably be the best country to kick the crap outa aliens...
 
In my opinion (which is much like Reefsmokas) there is a parralel universe but what happens on that one is exactly the opposite - for example, if we flip a coin here and it comes out heads, they flip a coin and it comes out tails.

As for being able to go back in time, if its possible in the future, we would already know about it - if you think about it.

maybe any alien visits are from humans traveling from time...

of course there is other life out there. They may be single celled amobeia pathogenic creatures or they may be highly advanced super creatures with a short(ish) life span that means it is not viable for them to visit us.

Or maybe they dont even need to visit us - our TV programs are being transmitted into space 24/7 and have been for the past 50 or so years. Assuming they have the technology to pick the signals up, they can study us from that ;)

ah well.
 
And if the've watched Big Brother, Changing Rooms, those 1 star American "Made for TV" films, I think you'll find that's the reason why they haven't visited.

I think we'd be a little arrogant to assume we're the only life forms capable of reasoning and technology in the whole big wide whatever, but as yet, as far as I know, no real evidence.

I only hope if ever the time comes they're friendly.

And that we're friendly, for that matter.
 
There's 1 thing for sure, if they do come, they'll invade the USA (they always do in the films) and it'll take Bruce Willis in a dirty vest to handle them if they don't come in peace.
