Hate to be dense, but after reading this thread I still don't see the
workaround. It's ridiculous not to be able to download files, demos,
drivers, programs, etc. from teh internet, but I still can't figure out how
to do it, save for the two Jane-Suggestions, and one of thise didn't work
for me.
A little help with this "disappearing downloads" problem? Is EVERYONE
having it? Or is it just some installs? I'm on an iMac under Boot Camp
running Ultimate and all is pretty well otherwise. I went to download a
photo program (Picojet) and it vanishes. I tried to download Firefox (to see
if the problem was pure IE7), and Firefox vanished. Nada. One program I
was able to download (why? don't know.) was IFRANVIEW.
Is there an official answer?
