John, I have to say that you have stood up well to these idiots. I have not seen so much gibberish in a very long time This rehan or whatever the fools name is he is the best at double talk I have probably ever seen

Your best course of action is to block all of the pratts messages...he will eventually crawl under what ever rock he came from

You have my sympathies...what a load of pratts you have to put up with

-+<I>+-

An anonymous talking to an anonymous. That would be a real PRATT. Probly
one of JK's lakey's.

Jack

Will the real JK please stand up? Probably not. He's probably too embarassed after his recent public humiliation

Look! A JK lakey! Or is it JK himself

Oh dear....feeling left out were we, wanted another go...I love it, because,
you will eventually wind the people at Microsoft up enough so that they will
check up on all of it...there is no such thing here as anonymous....that's
why I always use my real name...apart from the fact that I have NOTHING to
hide...so rant on children....you are improving my case all the time. Thank
you so much :)

juvenile...but keep it up anyway....you are helping my cause quite a lot.

All non DV fomrats used by WMM use square pixel encoding and therefore
your advice to use input images of size matching corresponding output size
is valid.

I am sorry but I have to correct myself here... :-(

The following WMV formats also use non-square pixel encoding (in addition to
DV-AVI (PAL)):

- High Quality Video (Pal)
- Video for local playback (2.1Mbps Pal)
- Video for local playback (1.5Mbps Pal)

all of which use 720x576 pixel frame size. Also the corresponding four NTSC
formats use non-square pixel encoding.

For one-to-one pixel perfect mapping from input to output, these formats
should only be used with sources that are "already" encoded with non-square
pixels such as movies captured from some dv sources. Otherwise if one uses
these to encode a still picture for example which always has square pixels,
the mapping will not be 1:1 and therefore loss of pixel resolution will
occur due to more than one input pixel getting encoded into one output
pixel.

In another thread I will share my experience and tips for making good
quality DVD slideshows from still images.

Hello There,

To all of you who sent emails about the website, and for any of you who
might wonder what's going on....I took an overdose of idiot pills some time
this afternoon....and deleted most of the website from the server!!! I
actually sat there watching one directory after another vanish and thinking
"that seems to be taking rather a long time" Well it took long enough for
most of the site to disappear.

The complete web site is now uploading, as it is rather large this will
take some time to achieve So please hang on...service will be resumed as
soon as the idiots pills wear off!
