another phone call off 'BT India' ... I'm gonna call them that from here on in, anybody with any objections can choose which weapons @ 20 paces they would like ... what was I saying?
oh, yeah ... so BT India have said, and I quote, "we see from the phone calls you've been having a problem with your internet connection" ... hey, no (insert derogatory word here) Batman ... "we are sorry for the inconvenience but due to the outage in your exchange we were unable to rectify the problem earlier" ... 2 weeks int too bad ... "we will revert you back to FastPath within 48hrs"
My Broadband still works; bought a new phone (this new one has an answerphone and nuisance call blocker, my old one didn't) just to make sure it wasn't my phone - it isn't.
I pay Zen the rental fee but BT do repairs from the local exchange and calls to my home if neccessary. This exact same thing happened a few months ago.
Not that it bothers me much, I never use the landline except for Broadband, the occasional fax and calling 0800 numbers.
Anyhow, I digress, back to your saga Mr Mucks - good luck.
Good news Mucks. And on a similar note I now have my landline back, Zen rattled BT's cage, it took 4 days to sort out. So now I've got those bloody sales calls again, but.. I now have an answerphone which is a nice buffer.
I told one cold caller today to **** *** and she started laughing. Good training that, she must get tired of being asked how does she sleep at night...
