Deep Fried Ice-Cream!

Milk is much better through it...Tim Tams are not so easy to get in the UK unless you get them from one of the few Aussie/Kiwi/Safa shops that are left, but then you get charged through the roof for them....I want a Tim Tam straw now...

I've never tried it with milk, that would be quite different though because it wouldn't melt
A different treat altogether :D I am going to have to try it now

I tried it with a mint slice once, it's a round bikkie but if you nibble little openings opposite each other it works quite well & was very yummy (gives mint tea a whole new meaning :D ) although the minty bit in the middle doesn't melt like the chocolate center of a tim tam. Still very messy thoiugh

I dont know if you have ever heard of the restaurant chain Chi Chi's...

But they had the best fried icecream ever! It was soooo good!

LOL I found this interesting diagram of what exactly it contained.

They make deep fried pickles, hot dogs, bananas, butter (Yes, Butter).. and many other strange things here in Ohio at our fairs.
They also deep fry any candy bar that you would like just like a Mars bar or Snickers....

 That doesn't look like what I had. I had a slab of icecream (about 5cm x 10cm), dipped in batter (the same type as is used for deep frying fish) and dropped in the deep frier. Hot and crispy on the outside, cold and sweet on the inside... Yummy
