that you know is corrupt. In fact, it won't even reach the output if
you assert the output reset and clamp lines.
Normally, the channel with the shortest exposure would have a similar
exposure as in the normal case, with the other channels requiring longer
exposure. This would certainly be the case in the example that
initiated this discussion - extending the blue, and to a lesser degree
the green, exposure to compensate for the orange mask on a negative
film. So for that type of application there is plenty of time do clock
out the pre-exposure charge conventionally without even resorting to any
of the tricks with clock and clamp phasing that I referred to earlier,
but you can get rid of it faster using those steps if you need to.
