If you upgrade to XP you will have problems with sidewinder

I am certainly not competing with Muchshifter who has a beast of a machine.

I will upgrade soon, MB, Ram, and processor. Most of the other stuff I like to retain as they work fine.

Any suggestions?

Hey, at least this thread does give an interesting insight into what people were using justa afew years ago, and how far technology has advanced. hehe
 
To add to below - i have two IDE Drives one 120 GB and one 40 GB

A Bobby no name DVD writer (X8 Write Speed) and a LG CD writer (X32 Write speed)

All in a Cyber Fusion Case
