honestly though do you think i will be able to get them to cancel the £15 left as they have already said i dont have to pay the £30?

What i am saying is they have made mistakes and if they have cancelled the £15 for delivery why would they still think they could charge me for collection?

Any ideas, please?

sorry to go off my own subject but anyone got any ideas about my dilemma?

Thanks :thumb:

Oh, just remembered, I spilt a full glass of red wine all over my Logitech Explorer (£30.00) keyboard about a year ago, and it wouldn't work, was doing lots of random things.

So I took it completely apart and washed everything except the circuit board (which was untouched by the wine) in a full bath of warm water with a little fairy liquid. I used a nailbrush to clean everything.

Rinsed it all off under the warm water tap then let it dry out on top of radiators for a couple of days.

It's been working fine ever since. And came up looking like new again :)

I would try and push them to pay for it if the PC is faulty, as with most companies, if you are persistent they will yield :)

the pc wasnt faulty it was just that they said it sounds like it needs repairing and they didnt tell me of any potential costs if they couldnt find the problem i had explained to them.

Why? When you think about it, the seperate keyboard parts are only pieces of plastic, apart from the circuit board.

Providing you thoroughly dry the parts afterwards, it's harmless.

In fact, it's really rather a good thing :)

In fact in fact if you want to make your keyboard like new, and you have a spare keyboard to use whilst your other one's drying, I'd even recommend it :D

Bit of a bugger putting back all the keys in the right order though ;)

Yea putting the buttons back would suck lol.. i spilt soda on my keyboard bought a new one (cough) forgot keys came of LMAO! Who still uses the old ball mouses that u move around its the THUMB BALL WORLD NOW!!! a lil info i had to throw out there logitech trackman wheel with red glowing lights nice

You can get it from your local Maplins.... and depends how often you use it, how long is a piece of string...;)

The string is twice the length it is from the center.
