Hi tom,
Has anyone successfully downloaded and instaled the frontpage server
extentions for IIS 7.0 on windows vista from;
http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&g=6&i=1630
I'm starting to think, after 4 downloads, on 2 different Vista computers,
that it only works on Windows 2008, or that there is a whole lot more to it
than what they explain at:
http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/134/install-frontpage-server-extensions/
Frontpage will just not publish to localhost on my computer.
In internet explorer when type: http://localhost I get the IISpage
When I publish to localhost I get the famous;Unable to open "localhost"
When I publish to localhost/websitename it says: "website does not exist at
http://localhost/webname What is wrong, is there another plase to
download FrontPage server extentions for IIS 7 and Vista. What else can I do?

No
C:\Users\marc\Documents\webs\myweb is a Disc based web
If you have the FP SE installed under IIS on your PC
- you would publish to a Server Baser Web w/ the FP SE at
http://localhost
