Hello,
When I double click on the uph installer icon, I am prompted to click
'run'.
When I click run, a windows installer message appears saying that "the
feature you are trying to use is on a resource that is unavailable."
It then says to "try and find an alternate path to the folder containing
UPH
Clean-Setup[1].msi" on my C drive.
When I click 'ok', windows installer says the path 'C:\...UPH
Clean-Setup[1].msi' cannot be found.
The final windows installer message says "The installation source for this
product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can
access it."
This is as far as I get in the installation process.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your interest.

If you do a search on UPH is it found? If yes, what happens if you double
click on UPH?
It downloads automatically to C:/ Program Files/ UPH/.
You can manually download to anywhere however. The deskto for instance.

Where did you download it to?

I tried to reinstall uph clean on my Dell 4700 c , Windows xp

A dialogue box appeared that said the uph clean msi is missing.
The

Hello,
If this is the User Profile Hive fix the file is:
UPHClean-Setup.msi
It should run by double-clicking on it.
Delete any previous downloads and try downloading again.
If it's installed properly it will show in your startup routine:
Start => Run => "msconfig" {without the quotes}
It will be listed under the Services tab as 'User Profile Hive
Cleanup'.
Thanks for the reply, Claymore.
The problem is that I keep getting the message that the file is
"missing."
"Source file UPH Clean-startup.msi, is could not be found on the
system."
Where could it be?
