can you get all software for free - Chalenge!

Only free alternative for Pinnacle Studio, as far as I know, is Windows Movie maker.

And that ain't really free, is it? And has nowhere near as many functions, either.
 
It'll do... you can download it from the internet (windows update) without paying...

what is your question?
 
I wrote an article on this for PC Extreme, I totalled up all the cost of the packages that I could find free and open-source replacements for and it came to over £11,000. The list was getting on 100 items long, but i've since misplaced it. :(
 
That's a shame Matt, I'd really like a free alternative to Cakewalk :(

Talking of audio editing programs, I can't recall the name of the one professional musicians use, I done a Google but couldn't find it at all.

I know it's expensive, but very good, used in recording studios everywhere.

Name's on the tip of my tongue, somebody help me out here, lol ;)

QUESTION -- Trillian "Pro" ( a Third party messaging client that can support AIM/YAHOO/MSN with WEBCAM CHAT)

Oh, I know Quad, my children tell me all the time!! I am a Gemini and have the most enquiring mind. I love researching things and people who know me well say I like 'a good fettle' (this is a regonal term where I live for someone who likes to really get to the bottom of things and leave no stone unturned!!)
