Can not play DVD

This may help? it relates to the same problem but! with different DVD RW`s
It does seem to be a driver problem> mucks will read this I am sure

he can then comment on the error

I went to the NVIDIA site and downloaded the latest driver for my NVidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400, problem solved.
Thank you for everybodys help and sujestions.

Thanks itsme, it is strange though my Philips SPD 2400L1 works ok but the Pioneer DVD-Rom DVD114 will still not work ,but this is an older player only, so I am not worried about that.

Out of curiosity have you an old DVD film to try in the Pioneer DVD-Rom

Hi again itsme, no I have not got any old DVD films to try unfortunately. It plays CD`s though.

It should play an older DVD [prior to coding], if you get hold of one try it and let me know
