The lead time on all pre-built systems is between 24-48 hours.

That will not only be a very nicely built system but it is built with high quality parts and a 12 month RTB warranty. ;)

Yes, its an i3 not an i7, but your budget wont get you a decent i7 + GPU for gaming on that price. it just wont.

That system with kick the 'you know what' out of anything you posted above. ;)

...and it will run any game quite happily.

Heres a thread showing off their systems on their forums if you wondered what kind of quality they are.

...and no i dont work for them, nor do i have any affiliation with them, just that i have been a very happy and long standing customer of theirs who has spend 1000's with them, including the system in my signature, parts only, i built it.

:)

In any case, what this really means is that the Core i3 processor is the one to buy if you're on a budget. It only loses turbo boost, which in the low-end Core i5 processors is not an impressive feature. The Core i5 processors are faster, however, so if you're not constrained by budget they are also a good choice. If you're interested in learning more about the Core i5, please read our article on how the Core i5 stacks up against the Core i7.

could i work with something like this:
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/Barebones/Novatech/BB-I5764G.html

W/ 500gb hdd, gtx 260. total= £600 maybe?

You could, but that system is no even close to the one i posted for a mere90 quid more (which is about what a copy of Win 7 would cost)

The GPU isn't DX11, the OcUK system is.
That system wont even OC to 3ghz let alone 4ghz.

Right, and with that, that is enough of this, i've already wasted more than enough time on this thread.

I've posted my thoughts/ advice. Now its up to you what you do with this information.

:)
