BugHunter v2.1 Free Antimalware Tool

Ok, I have your zip file saved to desktop - I have scanned for spyware
Hiyas Antioch,

First, I've updated it since that post, so please download the .zip
again, replacing the one you already have. :)

Second, Please take a quick look at the BUGHUNT.TXT file before you do
anything. It answers your questions. I'm not attempting to be wise or
turn you off from using the program, but I'd like for you to use it
safely and knowledgably, and that is why I encourage you to see the
documentation first. Ok? :)

Hi Dustin
Not sure whether you would like me to continue here or on your site.
I have read BUGHUNT.TXT - twice - afraid most went way over my head.
Please prompt how to get this started - I see how to use - but cannot see
how to get to that bit safely.

is useful to all this way. I'm going to provide you with a few simple
instructions. when I encase a word in <> it means I want you to press the
button named in the brackets, not enter it too. Ok? :)

Alrighty...

Unzip BUGHUN21.ZIP to c:\bughunt

a black box window will open, don't panic. :)

type the following
cd\bughunt <enter>
bughunt <enter>

At this point, BugHunter will initialize. It's preconfigured to do a
recursive scan, so it'll startup by creating a temporary file. When it's
finished the Main Menu will be presented. BugHunter doesn't use your
mouse, you control BugHunter via your keyboard by pressing keys shown in
[brackets], A,B,C, etc.

When you have a made a selection, BugHunter will ask for your
confirmation; Give it by pressing y (or Y), if you have changed your
mind, press N (or any other key really) and BugHunter will return to the
main menu.

When your finished using the program, exit BugHunter from the main menu
by pressing Q.

Hi Dustin
Thank you for your patience - I may stretch it to the limits :-)
The clear simple guide looks just the ticket.
I have downloaded afresh.
R click to Extract All'
The default to extract to is C:\Docs & Sets\Richard\Desktop\Bughun21
R click Next extraction executed and Bughu21 folder now on Desktop.
I am XPHome so - Start/Run/ - typed in cmd - hit Enter - got the black box
C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CMD.EXE
On the flashing cursor typed in cd\bughunt and hit Enter -
Got 'The system cannot find the path specified'
Also tried typing in just 'bughunt - this time I got 'bughunt is not
recognized as an internal or external command, operable programme or batch
file'
If you took a hundred people I would always be that 1%.
I have gone through these actions three times and I have tried to save the
extracted folder to My Docs and Prog Files.
I hit the same impasse each time.
I thought I had a smart idea - in the cmd black box I added 'desktop' then
cd\bughunt then enter but that smart idea didn't work either.
What have I missed/done wrong????????????

If you don't mind me asking, are the other scanners finding cookies, urls
and registry keys? BugHunter doesn't scan for any of those.. Just files..
:)

Kind of sad you have to advertise this product here

Maybe its worth downloading & then sending to Symantec/Spybot for analysis &
see if definitions come out against it

Feel free to do so sir. The program is clean, and you may submit it to as
many sites as you like for analysis. Your also invited to google
"bughunter" and check those reviews as well.
