BugHunter is a non resident malware scanning and removal program. BugHunter
cannot prevent malware executables from running or being installed as it
does not remain in memory...However, it can scan the system anytime you
like and remove any malware that is known to BugHunter. As BugHunter relies
on dat file technology similiar to that of a virus scanner, updates to the
datafiles and the program itself will be released from time to time on the
Website. BugHunter currently scans for over 4,500 known Malware programs. A
partial list of the malware known is available on the website and with the
program. BugHunter supports windows 3.x to Windows 2003!

You can find it here: http://bughunter.it-mate.co.uk

thanks for your time!

| I think Dustin is one of the good guys...

He is. But, I have to agree. Dustin didn't need to "spam" this message.

Sorry David - I hate spammers and do my best to report them etc.
I am glad he did - shame to admit it - but I have dozens of antispy software
progs in favourites(most good, some bad), to try now and again, along with
the more established ones - but this one is new to me.
It is always good to put out a general warning when they post - lets face
it, not much is removed by the free progs out there.

I understand. I know Dustin. He is a long time "special contributer" to the alt.* virus
News Groups. That being said, Dustin did need to post this in non-virus/security related
News Groups.

Did you report Dustin for his spamming like you did with pcbutts? With those
lies you made to his ISP no wonder they don't believe you. You are a
hypocrite and I have no more respect for you. You are scum who hides behind
these newsgroup. Pc is right about you.
http://pcbutts1-therealtruth.blogspot.com/

You are pcbutts right? Just a different name?

Yes, it's Butt s, but, he's links are banned on MS servers now, so they
don't show, at least on the MS servers.

Funny, how ones ethics come back to haunt ones self - meaning that he
appear that he'll never see the light.

Did you report Dustin for his spamming like you did with pc bu tts?
Your post isn't going to show up, as your new method and links to the
new site are banned :)

Did you really think you could hide while still showing who you are and
calling attention to your pirate website.

No I am not.Why is it that everyone who defends her gets called her?.

Because you are the only other person, other than butt s to call him
"her" and you have already been traced back to yourself pc, in addition
to being the ONLY person to link to that foul site.

Please do not post spam in here, this is for questions on XP general,
not for advertising your wares..

Most of these groups are security related, BugHunter is a security related
program suitable for use on windows 2000 and XP. I don't see any harm in
telling people about it...Sorry to have offended you, sir.

BugHunter has been learning about many zlob variants lately...BugHunter
may know that version under another name, or possibly doesn't know this
variant yet. The only way I have of knowing, is by scanning it. <g>

BugHunter targets many browser hijackers and usually has no trouble
disabling and/or removing them (at your descrition).

I do apologize for spamming the non security related groups... I selected
you guys by mistake. However, I really do think I've done more good than
harm in this case. Spyware is a serious problem, and the more programs
which hunt for it, the better.

Ok, I have your zip file saved to desktop - I have scanned for spyware and
virus :-) :-) - on opening I get two more zips plus others - not too
familiar with this sort of method - what's the correct move - should I right
click on the desktop zip first, extract and save to C:Progs? I have noticed
that on opening those other two zips I get a warning about adding info into
temp. directory 1 in the registry(sorry, I always get the shivers when
registry is mentioned).
Thanks

Hiyas Antioch,

First, I've updated it since that post, so please download the .zip
again, replacing the one you already have. :)

Second, Please take a quick look at the BUGHUNT.TXT file before you do
anything. It answers your questions. I'm not attempting to be wise or
turn you off from using the program, but I'd like for you to use it
safely and knowledgably, and that is why I encourage you to see the
documentation first. Ok? :)
