Oh, they suck, they surely do
I've always wondered why these corporations favour direct debit, they assume, of course, you'll have money in your bank account for them to help themselves to.
What if I ain't got any money in my account? They don't get paid, that's what, so where's the advantage? And of course I'd cop a bank fee for the attempted payment.
I only have one direct debit, couldn't wriggle out of it, with Zen for my telephone line (which includes the fibre connection) and it costs £15.43 pcm . Basic line rental, no minutes, no services, no nuffink, all it's used for is Internet, the occasional fax and 0800 numbers.
All that BT tosh above is geared to one thing - getting more money from it's customers and forcing direct debit upon them. They are greedy useless *********
