Boot problem

You cloned, apparently following the correct procedure from IDE to SATA, but
your sata wont boot
Either the bios settings are incorrect, your mobo requires a specific sata
port to be used as a boot drive or the clone went wrong.
A repair installation of winxp will not affect data, apps or settings, but
you may have to prepare a slipstreamed winxp cd containing the latest sp,
depending on your current sp level.
If performing a repair installation you will need to use the F6 option to
install sata / raid drivers from floppy
Theres not a lot else I can say

A couple of questions:
- When setting up cloning IDE to SATA, should I choose to set the SATA
up as bootable or storage drive. I'm always asked by the cloning
application.

- With F6, the ultimate screen reads as follows:
SCSI Adapter
NVIDIA RAID Class Driver (required)
NVIDIA nForceStorage Controller (required)

So I should ignore the SCSI and choose both of those (one by one)?

Thanks.

1) bootable
2) I havent fully read your mobo manual, but I would suspect the two Nvidea
drivers are the required ones.
