psd99, I have a spare Gigabyte GA700N Pro 2 you could have for £20.00 inc. postage by standard Royal Mail if you like.

I'll have to check out it's all Ok first but should be in a position to post it Monday or Tuesday if it proves good. It was working fine when I stored it a few months ago.

It has the box; CD; case back plate; manuals; 5.1 rear sound plate; 2 x USB2 port back plate; firewall socket backplate; one IDE and one floppy cable with it.

Socket A; latest Bios; USB2; 5.1 sound; firewire; onboard LAN; RAID.

I typed in the model number into google to get the link, but PC Review appears first on the list and then a loads of other posts by Floppy :D Can't see the specs on it.

NOT an exact match ... close enough ...

Floppy is out on the Town tonight ... so I would wait to see if that pick does resemble the MB.

;)

This is just a guess, but do you think flops meant the GA7N400 Pro 2 and not the GA700N Pro 2.

I dont know but i cant find the own flops quoted on the Gigabyte website.

Heres the link to it.....

Hope that helps... :)

If it is that one, then twenny quid is an awesomely good bargain!

yer i know

best not get too excited yet, cuz hes not 100%

but yes thats grand of him definetly.

I aint sure and maybe wrong, but have a look at the Gigabyte site. Theres no mention of the GA700N Pro 2, and the one i quoted above is the closest to it. :)

Ok, here I be, sorry for the delay, went to a birthday party ina pub last night, have not done a damn thing today :o

Which means I haven't checked the board out yet. Tomorrow, I promise :)

Yes, it is a GA7N400 Pro 2 Revision 1, VR's link in post # 33 is correct.

Which saves me having to type out all the specs I guess ;)

So, bear with me, I'll post on the outcome tomorrow evening.

Ok, finally fired the board up with a 1.1 Duron, Geforce 2 64Mb vidcard and 256Mb PC2700 RAM. All seems good. Pix attached.

So wotchoo wanna do?
