The parts of Jamaica I was in were beautiful, romantic places and I will most
likely go back there again someday soon.

And users are worried about this and therefore information IS needed.
I don?t believe that a user must go to a newsgroup to find out
such important information as expiry dates, hidden in a mess of messages.
IMHO
Nothing on MSAS homepage
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
or
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/default.mspx
Nothing in FAQ, dated January 6

On MS frontpage
www.microsoft.com
"Download the new Beta............."
No need for any meds for me but maybe for some users with
spywareproblem and no IE.............. and maybe for you to
come down to normal level.

JohnF. expressed precisely :???
You forget to take your meds?
First you claim that MS needs to do a better job informing and then you
quote the information that has been provided.
What more do you want? It's not a book report, it's a complex piece of
software. I'm content to go back on expiration day and see what they
have put up to move forward. It's not like I'm using this on a
production machine anyway.

My MS Antispyware expires in 38 days . . . then what ?
Hi
This is what we know. MS must inform better ! IMHO.
Message from Mr Dodson, MSFT
I would say that the expiration issue will be resolved fairly soon as we
will push forward the timebomb. We are in the final test pass on the
next release and as soon as we have finished the testing, it will be
broadly announced. The next version should put a dent in reducing the
following major issues:
1) July 31 Timebomb
2) LSP breaking.
3) Flying toasts when start bar is docked on the side.
I am real excited that these items will be fixed soon so we can focus on
finalizing beta 2.
