Sorry Gary, but you've opened an old can of worms. This group
discussed and voted on exactly this issue a couple of years ago.
CDWare is not freeware unless it's available to everybody on the
internet. Also, it's not freeware because you have to buy the CD with
the magazine. Here is the post with the vote results which you can
easily verify by doing a Google usenet search:
