So is Bush about Iraq :) That speech he gave yesterday to a captive
audience of his choice (military generals at a war college) struck me
as bizarre. Talk about a staged political event! He is scary.

I agree. He is using those televised speeches as free political campaigns
for himself which is unfair to Kerry.

Microsoft has an AV ? That is news to me please tell me more.

Microsoft had an AV, it was called MSAV (the Windows version was called
MWAV) and it was a joke (surprise!).

Recently it acquired RAV (I don't remember whether it acquired only the
technology or only the people or both and the company). No idea what
this means for the future.

What we are talking about here is the EZTrust program, which is not
developed by Microsoft (thanks God!), it's developed by CA and it's
offered for free thanks to a partnership with Microsoft.

Well they say you get what you pay for and IF it is anything like some
of the other Hi-Tech aqusitions I have seen over the last 10 years by
other companies any fairly decent product free or not will be
worthless in just about a year and chalked full of spyware ad-ware and
who- knows-what-ware in the future, when your an 800 pound gorilla the
other monkeys throw bananas at you just to keep you off their ass or
out of it as the case may be .....

Just another historical observation ....

And sometimes you don't get what you pay for. ;-)

Not impossible. After all we are talking about Microsoft.

better commerce through fraud, theft and extortion and it will get
only get worse before it gets better because there is a 1200 pound
gorilla on the horizen ...

Actually I was thinking of a few others as well as Microsoft, but by
far MS is the biggest offender IMHO, I mean WHO leaves ALL the doors
and windows opened and unlocked by default and THEN makes you jump
through one hoop after another just to reclaim your property not to
mention your safty, security and in some cases Identity and OHH by the
way there NOT RESPONCIBLE for it, Just a MISTAKE in programming or a
program error an error in concept execution or a hardware error or
this excuse and that excuse etc ... etc ... etc ...

as I said before NOT in the same words of course:

"When it requires 10 people to screw in the light bulb it's time to
get rid of the light bulb"

Have a good one ...
