It's not a lie. People tell you all the time that you are a troll and don't
belong here. Go smoke a bowl and then scam some more little old ladies in
your community who don't know any better. Remember, you can talk them into
paying you for Ubuntu. They have no clue. Then you can buy more WEED.

I guess making up lies helps you get it through the night. Problem is
you and Frank are the only ones that believe your lies.

Nice combo, huh?

Which is better: AVG or Avast? Thanks

A year ago I would have said "AVG" is fantastic!
While I admit I have never gotten a virus or anything - and I use the
pay version with firewall - and I've checked the firewall on those
checking sites and gotten a "perfect" score... I can no longer
wholeheartedly recommend AVG.

About 6 months ago they did a major update from 7.5 to 8.0. That
update was a mess for XP. I had to change settings, I can't remember
what the problems were exactly but they were several and I had to
contact tech support. That's when I really lost faith in AVG. Even
though I had a pay version that I'd only recently paid for, getting
tech support was like pulling teeth. Took me weeks to get the problem
resolved because they basically just did not answer my several emails
and when they did, the answer had nothing to do with my question. So
I'd write back and finally after weeks and several emails, I finally
got it worked out.

Admittedly it's been better since then, and the update from 8.0 to 8.5
was painless.

But when my subscription runs out I may try AVAST.
How's their tech support?

Agreed, something went wrong a month or two ago and caused major slowdowns.

My experience with them is excellent.

I don't use either - I
use Cyberdefender and it works great. I like the 24/7 computer
support and the interface is easy to use. It's blocked a few viruses
on my computer; I'm so glad I have it!

"pusz4frog" You did not answer the question.

to Guest. Are you looking for Free or Paid Antivirus?
Be aware, you won't get any un-bias answers here. I suggest your use your search engine and look for antivirus reviews.

I used AVG on both xp and Vista as well as I have used Avast on both, As
much as I like AVG I find Avast both faster and less of a resource hog as
avg.. This is culled from running it on 2 xp machines as well as 2 vista
machines for well over 2 years now... never a bug and never a slowdown with
Avast, but then again AVG was not all that much slower.. I personally whole
heartedly recommend both!.. I wasn't much help was I?

Which is better apple or orange juice? What's best for you may be useless to
me and vice versa. Start with what your requirements are and then a useful
recommendation can be made.
