AVG Anti-Virus

OK, you made me look at it again Richard, and I think I figured it out.

It still won't work for IMAP mail, but it DOES work for outgoing mail in the
identity with the IMAP incoming account.

Glad it worked, even if I was not entirely correct in my suppositions
(I use the free AVG 6 myself.)
 
I've had time to do a little testing now, and I'm impressed!
The slowdown is unnoticeable. the only ways one knows viruses have been
stripped from incoming files are little messages at the bottom of cleaned
emails and a swelling Virus Vault.
