AV-Comparatives tests were total crap. He has not changed his opinion since then.

Good. I thought this may be the case as they used to have Avira at No.1
and that had to be BS.

Since you have no skills at determining AV efficiency, how would you
know if it was BS?

Damn. Scope for my kill filter on you (another Avira shill) was just for
alt.privacy.spyware.
Now corrected to 'Global'.

Interesting that you called Leythos a shill for Avira.

One month ago or so, Leythos would have sworn up and down about the qualities of Symantec.
Actual real-life events and subsequent tests swayed his opinion.

Unvalidated (and made up events and tests, no doubt).

Yes he had an epiphany finally about two things. He loves you and that he
was an idiot in believing in Norton. Lets hope after my next software
release he will have another one (NOT).

Your loss, our gain. :)

They are a highly respected AV testing agncy. Google is your friend.

I am not disputing that. Just the No.1 rating. No point arguing it
because it is all just 'opinion'.

And that's no loss to me - but, as I've said, I have NO connection to
any AV vendor at all, not in any way - other than I use several vendors
products. I have never and am not currently compensated for my posts or
views/opinions of any product I discuss anywhere.

I can sure believe no ethical firm would compensate you for anything
except maybe for spamming the ng's with your crap.

I wouldn't buy as much as a toothpick based on your so-called
"reviews" What age are you? My guess is about 12 yrs.

I believe your response means you're just a troll, and a poor one at
that.

He went into lengthy detail on why he felt the testing was crap as well. If
anyone wants to read back. I'm not going to waste the time finding the
post; as I was here when he wrote it.

What software release? another batch file? that's not software,
Christopher.

Batch files are software, perhaps not "application software".

I can hardly wait to see what it stole this time. :oD

Thank you Dustin, I was unaware of this discussion as I was away from
computers for a couple of years past. I found some of his posts on
Wilder's security forums - I assume this is the public venue that you
meant? Kept the moderators busy. :o)

C'mon.. batch files are scripts. Not programs themselves, but interpreted
scripts.. thats it. I too can't wait to see what he's stolen, modified
this time.... Maybe he'll try something more creative and destructive
with our software? I wonder how many users he lost when he admitted to
disabling a respected program out of sheer spite? It's why he redid the
picture thing again. Hosted on youtube, hehehe, worried about another
dmca Christopher? Your ISP does honor the one with the real pic of me..

Not to worry paco, I have no intentions of doing that email jump around
thru hoops over a picture you'll host, photoshop, edit some more and do
god knows what with.

Software is 'instructions and data for consumption by a computer' or
some such thing.

I guessed that you took the second meaning mentioned here regarding
application software.

Not programs themselves, but interpreted scripts.. thats it.

Even scripts are programs (and software). Sophistication is not a
prerequisite.

?"hello, world!" ...is a software program (in BASIC - a software
programming language). IIRC the "?" for "PRINT" appeared in Dartmouth
BASIC 9th Edition. Doesn't look right to me without line numbers and an
end statement though. :o)

I know that you know this, and it makes me wonder why unsophisticated
programs ceased being "software" in your eyes.

I'm sure 'destructive' is in its repertoir, but it's the 'creative' I
wonder about.

I haven't seen a picture of you, nor would I want to. It would only
replace the mental image that Dalt had instilled by his suggestion that
you had spikey green hair.
